Pottsville Beach Principal elected to lead Tweed Ballina Primary Principals Council

Mrs Trisha Parker, Principal of Pottsville Beach Public School, was elected as 2026 President of the Tweed Ballina Primary Principals' Council in late 2025. A Kingscliff High School alumna and mum of five children, four of who attend Pottsville Beach Public School and Kingscliff High. Mrs Parker built her career in public schools across the Far North Coast and now leads one of the region's strongest primary schools, where student engagement sits at 91%, seven points above the state average, and 96% of students say their teachers expect the best of them.

As PPC President, Mrs Parker represents and advocates for public primary school principals across the Far North Coast. It's a role that recognises what the Pottsville Beach community already knows that she is one of the region's most respected and committed education leaders. Story dogs

Story Dogs is a unique literacy program in Australia that pairs children with trained therapy dogs to create a supportive and non-judgmental reading environment, helping to boost literacy skills and confidence.
