Starting school is a significant event in the life of children and their families. At Pottsville Beach, we believe that strong relationships and information sharing between families, early childhood settings and school help support your child's successful transition to school.

Transition to kindergarten

Our transition to school program is designed to support families and students during the transition from preschool to primary school.

Orientations days are an important chance to your child to have a snapshot of school life at Pottsville Beach and for us to get to know your child. During orientation sessions, the children will meet some of our teachers, engage in fun activities and make new friends with their peers.

We will have two sessions for our 2026 Kindergarten students to participate in during 2025. These days are RSVP only events are parents are encouraged to secure their child's place.
