22 Jul 2014
28 July – 1 August: Education Week 2014 will be celebrated with a range of exciting events that demonstrates quality teaching and learning at our school.
Monday 28 July: Athletic age champions from our school athletics carnival and competition champions will receive their medallions at the morning whole school assembly.
Tuesday 29 at 9.15am – 10.00am: K-2 Book Character Parade. The students will parade around under the big COLA for parents and peers. Students can come to school dressed as their character and may stay in that costume for the day, as long as it will not impede them from performing regular school activities and is sun safe. We hope to see many parents at school this day to help us celebrate Public Education and Pottsville Beach Public School. This is then followed with K-6 open classrooms and a book fair in the school hall. The book fair will be open from 8.00am to 3.00pm in the school hall. Parents are very welcome to attend the morning and if they wish purchase a delicious morning tea from the canteen.
Wednesday 30 July: Premiers Spelling Bee finals - school hall 9.15am Stage 2 and 10.15am Stage 3.
Thursday 31 July: The school will celebrate the creative and artistic talents of our students with the exhibition Palette on Pottsville – Through the Eyes of Children.
