Year 6 Kingscliff High School - Academic Stream Class Exam - Students who applied for the Kingscliff High Academic Stream Class please note that the exam will be held on Wednesday 30 May (Week 5) at 6.00pm in KHS hall. It will go for approx. 90 mins (60 mins exam + admin). Students are to bring their own pens/pencils etc, the numeracy exam is non-calculator. At the conclusion of the exam they will get information concerning the interviews.
P&C News - I would like to give a big thank you to all the wonderful Mums that helped wrap, pack and assist on the mother's and other's day stall. Without your assistance this event wouldn't be possible. The P&C's next event is the Pizza Day Monday 28 May in Week 5. Look out for the note and if you are able volunteer a little of your time on the day it would be greatly appreciated and a great way to meet other parents of the school and the kids really love seeing you!
Music News - It is fantastic that we offer lessons for so many different musical instruments at our school. Trombone, trumpet, saxophone, clarinet, flute, bass guitar, keyboard, glockenspiel with Mrs Thompson on Mondays and Tuesdays. Acoustic guitar with Mr Cowin on Mondays/advanced and Thursdays/beginners. Drums/percussion with Mr Dan Mueller on Thursdays. Violin and cello with Mr Paul Robinson on Tuesdays after school. Individual keyboard and piano with Ms Babara Downes on Wednesdays after school Please contact the front office for more information.
