NSW PSSA State Knockout - On Wednesday 7 August Pottsville Beach Public School Touch teams competed in the NSW PSSA State Knockout. Our girls had an enjoyable day. Unfortunately they lost their first round game against Kingscliff but went on to dominate in their two remaining consolation games.
The boys had a very competitive day defeating Kingscliff in the first game of the day and Terranorra in the second. In the third game of the day we came up against a quality Tweed Heads PS outfit. Whilst we pushed them the whole game we came up short and went down 11-8.
North Coast Touch - Congratulations to Cooper B who just returned from representing NC in Touch. North Coast finished ninth overall.
FNC Athletics - On Friday 9 August 80 students represented Pottsville Beach Public
School at the Murwillumbah District PSSA carnival in Murwillumbah. We had some fantastic results and a large number of students qualified to represent Murwillumbah District at the Far North Coast Carnival in Bryon Bay. This carnival took place on Friday 23 August. Pottsville finished first as the champion school. Well done to all students who participated and represented the school with pride.
